Anti-Fascism in the Philippines: Seems Hypocritical

Anti-fascism from the word itself is an ideology that opposes fascism. What is fascism? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, fascism is a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition. So in summary to this definition, anti-fascism is an ideology that advocates freedom and tolerance.

As I cited this quote, my observations are quite true in fact I will give you a real-life example where a jogger who wore a BBM mask was angrily spotted by a Leni Robredo Supporter in the University of the Philippines Diliman. Another example of the hypocrisy of these so called anti-fascists was this another post made by again The Imperial Patriarch as I respectfully cited:

"UA STUDENT DIES AT 23 by suicide. A BS Computer Science student was found by one of his relatives hanging inside their house around 5:00 a.m., this morning of May 6, 2022."

I hate that no matter how much we try to remove politics from this reality to make it "fair" to the other camps, the trigger really is nothing but bullying by the kids from that kamp.

The kid was merely defending Loren Legarda from his schoolmates emphasizing her help with the scholarship grant they received, and the toxic camp can't just help themselves but attack, malign, disgrace, and insult him.

If you suffer from depression please for your sake do not enter into any political discussion especially this season. It's not worth it.

To these young kakampinks who are the material representation of toxicity, I have no words for you right now. But I am starting to hate each and every one of you.

I hope people had screenshots of the post last night. His teacher and his "friends" are one by one deleting their comments. They need to be accountable.

Update: Family and friends report that the kakampinks from his school made a Group Chat to insult and degrade him behind his back. Convo got leaked and pushed him to take his life.

Conclusion

I therefore conclude that these people so called "anti-fascists" claiming that they fight fascism which is an political ideology of dictatorship and autocracy were no different to the fascists and fascism that they fight. These two real-life examples exposed their hypocrisy on fighting the ideology they extremely opposed. As I cited from Ennio Flaiano, there are two kinds of fascists: fascists and anti-fascists. His quote was proven by the two examples I mentioned earlier.
